ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini: which AI is smarter in 2026

ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini compared in 2026 on NeuralSpace — all three models in one chat, pay in rubles, no VPN

Коротко о главном (BLUF)

В этом материале мы разбираем ключевые аспекты работы с нейросетями: актуальные модели, практические советы по промптам и примеры генераций. Читайте дальше, чтобы узнать подробности.

For half a year now I've been running three AI models in parallel — ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. You know what's annoying? Each one is great at its own thing, and none of them covers everything. So here's an honest comparison — not by benchmarks, but by real work inside the NeuralSpace chat, where all three sit side by side.

NeuralSpace chat: ask one question and compare ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini answers side by side — Claude wins big-context refactors, GPT for everyday and voice, Gemini for multimodal and facts

Who writes code better

Here's the deal. Claude Sonnet is a beast at refactoring. Throw an entire repository at it (200k+ tokens of context) and it calmly works out what connects to what. For long projects, it's my pick.

GPT-4o and the o-series are a different story. Algorithmic problems, gnarly bugs, olympiad-style logic — that's where GPT is stronger. And Gemini? Its trump card is this: drop in a screenshot of an interface and get the code back. Screenshot → code in seconds. More on that in the "Code" section.

Big files: who keeps the thread

Claude is the clear favourite here. 200 thousand tokens of context — and it actually uses them, rather than pretending to. It quotes precisely and doesn't mix up the beginning with the end. Gemini is also decent with long texts, but Claude is more consistent.

GPT, meanwhile, sometimes "forgets" the middle of large documents. Seriously. Give it a 50-page contract — it remembers the start, remembers the end, but might skip the crucial clause on page 27. That's irritating.

Text: who writes like a human

Honestly, Claude writes the most alive. No bureaucratic stiffness, none of that "AI sheen" you can feel instantly. GPT-4o is the all-rounder: tell it to write like a teenager on Twitter or like a professor — it nails the style. Gemini is a bit dry. But it's more accurate on facts than the other two — if you need an article with numbers and no made-up stuff, it earns its keep.

Images, voice, video — who does what

GPT-4o and Gemini 2.5 read images about equally well. But GPT has a feature the others don't — Realtime Voice. A live spoken conversation, no pauses, no lag. You talk, it answers instantly. Like a call with a friend, except this friend knows pretty much everything.

Logic and math: the o-series rules

If a task needs deep reasoning — math, formal logic, multi-step debugging — OpenAI's o-series is still ahead. Claude's Extended Thinking is right on its heels. Gemini is catching up, but on genuinely hard problems it still lags.

Which AI to pick for which job in 2026: Claude for code, long documents and human-sounding text; GPT o-series for hard logic and GPT-4o for everyday and live voice; Gemini for images and factual accuracy

So which one should you choose?

  • Claude — for long texts, code with large context, and anything where the "humanness" of the answer matters.
  • GPT o-series — complex algorithms, reasoning, tasks where you need to think 10 steps ahead.
  • GPT-4o — for everyday use plus voice mode.
  • Gemini — multimodal work and factual accuracy.

My advice — don't pick just one. In NeuralSpace you can ask all three the same question and compare the answers side by side. You pay in rubles, no VPN — and get access to the whole zoo of models at once. Try it for a week — you'll figure out for yourself which AI is best for exactly your tasks.
